Deeply saddened to learn of the death of former England Men’s cricketer and administrator Hugh Morris. Hugh played a transformative role in shaping cricket in England and Wales. Our thoughts are with his friends and family.

RIP Glamorgan & England batter, Hugh Morris. He scored 19,785 1st class runs at 40.29 with 53 tons. He also notched 8,606 List A runs at 35.85. Morris played three Test matches for England scoring 115 runs at 19.16 with a top score of 44. He was only 62 years old. #cricketcounts
