Today our hearts are with the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute, Ely Shoshone Tribe, & Duckwater Shoshone Tribe as we mark another year since the massacre of 1863 at Bahsahwahbee.

I stand with these Tribes in their efforts to permanently protect Swamp Cedars & share its story.

Today we remember the anniversary of the horrific 1863 massacre at Bahsahwahbee.

I'm calling on Pres. Biden to declare these sacred grounds a national monument to honor the history of the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe, the Ely Shoshone Tribe, and the Confederate Tribes of Goshute.

Tribal Nations of eastern Nevada are asking President Biden to designate the sacred swamp cedars, Bahsahwahbee, as a national monument managed by the National Park Service. It's a sacred cemetery, and we should protect it as one. via Jeniffer Solis (so-LEEZ) Nevada Current:
