As we celebrate Black History Month, it’s important to remember that we shouldn’t treat this month as though it is somehow separate from our collective American history. Black history is American history.

75 years ago, Jackie Robinson competed in his first MLB game—despite facing vicious treatment and threats. Throughout his life, Jackie used his voice to stand up for racial justice and in the process, changed America for the better.

We made it! Almost 40 students compromised of 2nd, 3rd, and 8th grade students… and their families are here for the Youth Voices Conference Buffalo State University! Excitement is in the air and our students are ready to present💙🦅💛

Briarwood's Day of Giving Donation Assembly celebrated the students and families who donated items such as Band-Aids, shampoo, etc. for R.A.W. (Recovery All Ways), which helps those affected by mental illness, substance abuse disorder & homelessness. Well done! Brenna Farrell, Ed.D.
