Our KS2 students recently took part in a district Panathlon competition. Their teamwork skills were outstanding and their hard work paid off, as they emerged as district champions! They are now excited to be going to represent Redditch at the county Panathlon finals. Good luck!

Congratulations to the Year 8 indoor athletics teams! The girls' team became district champions and will now compete at the county competition. Despite a last-minute change leaving the boys a man short, they finished in 3rd place overall. Well done to everyone involved!
The KS3 girls fitness festival was a fantastic event where participants could explore new skills and engage in a weightlifting workshop. The festival not only provided a platform to learn and grow but also offered a chance to enjoy and embrace new experiences. Well done everyone.
Birchensale had the pleasure from a visit from the amazing Peter Martin today where we were kindly gifted a bleed kit for the school. These packs contain life saving equipment and we are extremely grateful to receive one.

Last week, a group of Year 5 and 6 girls participated in a fun football session at Redditch United. The event was organized by their coaches and included a special visit from the Redditch MP. All of the girls loved the session and enjoyed the experience of playing football.

Recently, some of our KS3 students went to the Utilita Arena to watch the National Badminton Championships. Not only did they enjoy watching the matches, but they also participated in various games and activities aimed at improving their serving techniques.
Our KS2 students recently took part in the district indoor athletics competition. Their hard work paid off as they finished top 3 in most of their events. The girls' team put in a fantastic effort, finishing 3rd overall. Meanwhile, the boys' team emerged as district champions!
Recently, we participated in the biggest girls' football event at Arrow Vale. We participated in numerous football drills and matches designed to enhance our skills. It was an amazing afternoon for everyone involved and was great to see more girls getting into football.
Last week, we attended the KS2 boccia competition. The participants gave their all, demonstrating exceptional accuracy in their throws. Their perseverance and commitment paid off with Birchensale finishing in 5th and 8th place overall.
Last week, we attended the KS3 boccia competition. After a couple of close games, both of our teams reached the final and had to battle it our for 1st and 2nd place. Now, our students are excited to go and represent Redditch at the county school games competition in the summer.
