very excited to release something me and Bruno de Carvalho worked on when he was in town. Owl is a spaced repetition app to facilitate memorization and learning. We built it for ourselves, but are setting it free. owl.cards

Really, really digging Fly.io. A couple of days before sharing owl.cards with the world, Fred Oliveira 🧠 and I moved it to Fly and it's been an incredibly smooth ride. The tooling is A+ and the UI/UX is just lovely 👏

I’m *pretty* upset at this whole “if text has an em dash, it’s AI generated” trend. Excuse me, some of us actually care about how we write 🤬

Claude Desktop's MCP setup is some pretty disappointing UX but the functionality is just... *chef's kiss* Coming soon to an owl.cards near you, my new favorite way to learn things 🧑‍🍳🚀

It’s 2025. We out here one-shotting entire products with LLMs while Siri/Apple “Intelligence” still feels like bad tech from the early 00’s. Like… How? Does anyone at Apple use this stuff?

The sheer amount of developer tooling out there that refuses to respect (or at the very least provide opt-in support for) XDG standards saddens me.

Flaky tests are fun because they make you sit there and question whether your logic really works about 5x as hard as you did the first time you wrote it.

So basically Trump now has majority control over the Fed board, he waits for Powell to resign, puts in his own guy, they cut rates back to zero, money printer goes brrrr, assets pump, we lose reserve status, but at least we have big Zimbabwe amounts of money? Is that accurate?
