Hawk Golf celebrated a successful 2022 campaign last night. We celebrated our team accomplishments and handed out awards. First our All Division selections: Sonny Massotti ‘22 Brady Williams ‘23, Drew Chadwick ‘23, Gianni Fontenault’24 and Mike Pezzullo ‘24 Hendricken Athletics

Next up in our slate of recognitions is our Providence Journal All State First Team golfer Brady Williams ‘23. Brady had a breakout junior season establishing himself with that states very best players. It’s Brady’s second All State selection after garnering 2nd team in 2021.

Our 2022 Captains Award winners are Most Improved Mike Pezzullo ‘24 and JV Top Performer Thomas Hanson’25. Mike was new to the lineup and ended up as our 3rd scorer at states. Thomas won a sudden death playoff to take the JV State Championship. Hendricken Athletics

The highlight of our annual golf banquet is having Hawk Golf legend Coach Joe Cichon join us to present the Joseph A Cichon Coaches Award to Sonny Massotti ‘22. A Sr Captain, Sonny led the Hawks on and off the course ensuring success by always putting team first Hendricken Athletics

Congrats to Hawk Asst Coach Bobby Leopold for punching his ticket to the 122nd USGA Amateur Championship in NJ in August. Bobby chipped in for eagle on the 1st playoff hole at todays qualifier in CT to earn his 5th trip to the US Amateur. Way to go Coach. Hendricken Athletics
