There is no feeedback for a traumatized person that should start with “You just need to…”

They won’t “Get over it,” until their nervous system regulates it. They can’t “Just move on,” until their body feels safe to. They won’t “Just think positive” until their thoughts have been validated & they find relief. If it’s not trauma informed, it’s not meant to heal trauma.

Someone I am close to is getting a great deal of bear calls recently bc ppl re seeing a lot of blk bears around towns and their homes. Why? They’re wanting to fatten up this time of yr. They are searching for high calorie reward foods. So clean up your bird seed, fruits, garbage.

A charge was recently laid under BC's Wildlife Act several months after Pearl, a working Anatolian Shepherd, lost her leg to a trap near her family’s farm. One individual was charged with a trapping-related offense. #BCpoli buff.ly/3Z8PtI7
