It is important that you know evictions are still happening. Evictions have BEEN happening in the months since the federal moratorium was first enacted in September 2020. Many local judges *never* shut down eviction court. Over 150 scheduled in Jackson County, MO tomorrow.

psstt... local court judges and trial courts have been ignoring the CDC "moratorium" for months now and evicting people anyway...

it's so maddening that landlords (who stand to get paid back 100% of what they are owed by rental assistance!!!) would rather refuse money and instead evict whole families. it's almost like market forces aren't logical or something!?!
