Another week of preparing and cooking meals for local residents. It was tough work in this heat but it’s essential and worthwhile work!

It is a fantastic feeling when we get great feedback from our local community partners.

Local TRA volunteer efforts are continuing as lockdown lifts, including at Canada Estate TRA, Manor TRA, Wade TRA and BermondseyCK who are going to continue their wonderful work, supporting the local community by providing free hot meals every week #SE16

BCK is continuing our meal program for the local community working with several local hubs to distribute our healthy nutritious homemade ready to eat meals.

Last week we prepared and cooked over 200 meals for local residents.

This week we are cooking over 200 portions of Chicken Curry and Vegetable Curry.

We took a small break from social media during Covid and after whilst developing our new programs but we're back!

We have lots to share with you all so watch this space with new and upcoming information and stories!

We have still been delivering our free meal program, supporting local people with free healthy homemade meals whenever possible.

We have also been providing local young people with SEND with a free cooking program

Just before Christmas we supported two local groups with providing Christmas Dinners to local elderly residents, feeding over 140 people.
