Good to see insulation being put in at Elizabeth Dowells Trust, a sheltered alms house in Moseley. Really proud of the trustees for getting this project in place despite some setbacks. It will make a big difference to heating bills and energy use. @PhilBeardmore #retrofit

This was at Green Rd ford in Moseley. I am so relieved for the little girl, her mum & the brave couple who rescued them, but every single time we have a flood someone tries to drive through, despite warning signs. It’s not as if it’s a long way to drive round. Why take the risk?

Quercus dentata ‘Pinnatifida’ in the garden this morning. This was transplanted from my old place. It’s a wonderful thing planting an oak.
