For anyone wondering about little Martina 💚 She is only a young one and was 357g when taken in. She is being well looked after and 🤞 she starts feeling better soon 🦔

It's a sunny Bank Holiday and nests are being disturbed. If you're moving/uncovering something in the garden that has been left for a while - a BBQ/patio furniture/bags of compost/rubbish/a shed, etc, PLEASE check carefully first, as these are all prime nesting sites for mums.

Excitingly I think this might be our fostered 🦔, Martina, lovingly nursed back to health by Poppy's Crêche Hedgehog Rescue & Rehabiltation. I would never expect to see our 'regulars' out this early in the evening, they usually dine much later.

Oh my days, baby #hedgehog alert! 🦔 For scale, the water bowl is 5 inches wide and she's not much bigger. Other regulars are about twice the size of the bowl. She even explored the hedgehog house... but didn't stay the night 😁
