TOKYO POP is a cool, cute and charming little fish out of water story set in the 80s Japanese rock scene. This 35th anniversary 4K restoration looks and sounds fantastic, and the breezy story wonderfully flits between kooky and sweet. Releasing May 5th from Third Window Films 🥰

I caught up with some cinema this weekend

Gakuryū Ishii’s The Box Man (箱男) is a haunting and absurd descent into alienation, voyeurism, and identity, all through the narrow slit of a cardboard box! Now available to pre-order from Third Window Films and Terracotta Dist. Releases 30 June 2025.

This film is so much fun! Sean Byrne is 3 for 3 on bonafide bangers for me! His films are all dark and twisted, but they have such unique personalities. This one is a boatload of fun thanks to Jai Courtney’s gleefully unhinged performance. Film of the summer! #DangerousAnimals
