Today in 1970, John Lennon wrote “Instant Karma (We All Shine On)” in just an hour. It was written, recorded & released within 10 days, making it one of the fastest-released songs in history. The song's chorus also inspired the title to Stephen King's 1977 novel, “The Shining”.
