For the 3rd year in a row, the Braves have lost a major piece of their rotation in mid-September. Luckily, Alex did an incredible job building SP depth into this organization this offseason and a guy like Anderson could now get his chance to return to the Atlanta rotation for the

I have to be honest, I thought Biggio had been much worse than an 96 wRC+ this season. Dude plays everywhere, takes his walks and historically has been an average offensive player. Decent depth move this late in the season.

Every time another Brave goes down with a likely season ending injury I just start day dreaming about what 2025 is going to be like. Acuña Kim Riley Olson Ozuna Soler Murphy/TdA/Baldwin Albies Harris Sale Strider Reynaldo Schwelly AJSS/Anderson/Waldrep/Hackenberg/Veteran FA?

I’m still not going to get my hopes up about him returning this season because shoulder inflammation is a very tedious injury. But this gives me a lot of confidence that he won’t have to deal with next year.

Sean Murphy has had a lost season. There is no question about that. But defensively he’s half the reason our pitching staff I Has been so good all season. His ABs are bad. Same goes for Arcia, Harris, Soler, Ozuna, Gio, TdA and Kelenic right now. Literally the only 2 guys who

I’m watching a 9/11 documentary and I know George W. Bush was not the greatest president. There were certainly some issues that came to light later, but his handling of 9/11 in the immediate moments after and the following days and weeks was impeccable. Just truly great

If you asked me to guess how many HR Randal Grichuk had I would have definitely guessed around 125. This is kind of crazy.

Jorge Soler has a 122 wRC+ over his last 7 games with hits in 6 of those 7 games. In the Washington series he reached base 5 times in 2 games with 2 RBI doubles and 2 runs scored. He has a .787 OPS over that stretch.

Beaneater Buzz Has he been great? No. Would I wish we somehow kept wild bill? Yes. Will Sean figure it out? Yes. Same problem with Freddie and Matt Some people need to realize we can’t go back in time and change trades and signings. This year has been shit in general not just one player

Beaneater Buzz (@beaneaterb) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This is such an ignorant statement. Sean Murphy had a career 119 wRC+ entering this season across his first 5 seasons. You don’t post that by having one good half.

Beaneater Buzz (@beaneaterb) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Incase you haven’t been paying attention to this. Catchers around the league have gotten better. Murphy hasn’t actually gotten worse. He’s improved his CS% by 2% from last year.

If your take is that Olson of all players is going to keep the Braves out of the postseason then all you’re doing is holding Olson accountable for actually being healthy. He hasn’t had the best year. He also hasn’t had the horrendous year all these Freddie peeps are crying about.

I apologize to anyone that thinks I’m a bit straightforward today. It just really bothers me seeing how many people have turned on these players over one bad year. Maybe we as a fanbase needed a kick in the dick afterall.
