We have enjoyed a wonderful, interactive afternoon at Oldham Parish Church joining The Blue Coat School in their faith day service. Thank you for the lovely welcome :) #community #faith

Earlier this week our Year 7 pupils, together with BrianClarkeAcademy and St John's CE, Thornham Primary School pupils, took part in our annual Faith Day, where they explored the different world faiths, discussed 'green’ faith views and created some wonderful artwork. #collectivefaithinaction

Thanks to Manchester DBE for the invite to speak at the services today. It was amazing to see the Cathedral full of year 6 children singing, dancing and celebrating.

5,000 children and staff attended Year 6 leavers services at Manchester Cathedral to celebrate all that children have achieved in their primary schools and to look forward to their futures as they prepare for the move to secondary school 🎉✝️🙏 Read more about the service:

We had a wonderful morning at Manchester Cathedral celebrating the ordination of ex The Blue Coat School teacher Mrs Rutherford. We wish her every blessing from the Blue Coat Chaplaincy team.

What a wonderful Founder's Day Celebration! Many thanks to Richard Pennystan for an inspirational sermon on "Coming Home", and huge congratulations to BCS Oldham Music's amazing choir and band who never cease to amaze me with their depth of talent! #neverbeenproudertobeblue #anotheryeardone

Yesterday students arrived at Oldham Foodbank to deliver all the donations made as part of our Advent Challenge. Nobody in our community should have to go hungry, so we hope our contributions will bring some joy and happiness to families across Oldham. #faithinaction

Today we came together as a whole-school community at Oldham Parish Church to enjoy two wonderful Christmas Carol Services. Huge thanks to Fr. Daniel, Rev. Hannah and our amazing Chaplaincy team for making the services so special. Almost there now, one more day to go! #proudtobeblue
