Raj Chouhan has been re-elected as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. While he is an NDP MLA, he is expected to remain neutral and cast tie-breaking votes only. Chouhan was the sole candidate running for the position.

Looks like Dallas Brodie and Tara Armstrong are about to launch a new political party called One B.C. According to a website that was live this morning and has since been taken down. Jordan Kealy was not listed as a member.

New party: One BC is its name. It was registered on June 9, 2025. Former conservative MLA Dallas Brodie is the interim leader.

The new One BC party is an official party in the legislature, as the seats for official party status are two.
