High school cross country Pre-NPC Meet, Salisbury Community Park Carson's Zac Barbee was the individual winner in 17:36. Carson's TJ Jones was fourth. Thomas Ferguson (7th) led East Rowan.

HS cross country, Printcrafters Zac Barbee 5th in 17:33 and led Carson to 5th place. East’s Thomas Ferguson was 17th in 18:58 and led the Mustangs to seventh place. A.L. Brown finished eighth. Northwest Cabarrus was fourth.

West Rowan boys were 7th out of 23 in 3A West cross country regional in Morganton to lead Rowan schools. Carson’s Zac Barbee 11th and will be an individual qualifier for next week’s 3A state championships in Kernersville.
