BAPS Chicago welcomed City of Chicago Alderman David Moore this past Sunday. We are thankful to him for taking the time to visit us and sharing his vision of improving the lives of individuals across Illinois.

It was an honor to host the presentation of a Congressional Proclamation by Rep. Danny K. Davis (IL-7). The Proclamation was presented by City of Chicago Alderman David Moore to Mitesh Patel (Bakabhai) in recognition of his relief work during the pandemic.

The loss of the lives of innocent children and their educators at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas has left us in deep pain and shock. We offer our deepest condolences and pray for peace and strength for the families affected by the tragedy. #prayer #love #peace

On Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who have fallen while serving our country. We are grateful to you for protecting our freedom.

It was a pleasure having Illinois State Senator Darren Bailey and his wife, Cindy, join us BAPS Chicago. We appreciated learning about his vision for the hard-working people of Illinois.

BAPS Chicago was delighted to host Illinois State Rep. Representative Dan Brady (IL-105) and Wayne Township Supervisor Randy Ramey. Rep. Brady encouraged all members of the community to exercise their civic duty.

We were happy to host students from the Jain Society of Metropolitan Chicago Pāthshālā on their annual field trip to places of worship.

Yesterday during the IL primary election, the BAPS Mandir in Bartlett, IL served as a polling place for voters in DuPage County. It was exciting to see so many people exercise their civic duty. The Mandir will also be open to all voters in the County during the general election.

As we celebrate the inception of this great nation some 246 years ago, we are grateful for the First Amendment right of religious freedom, along with many other freedoms, that have allowed so many faiths such as ours to integrate into the fabric of America.

In honor of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 100th birthday celebration, BAPS Charities coordinated a blood donation drive with the @redcross at 100 centers across the United States. We are honored to have hosted our community members to participate in this noble mission at BAPS Chicago.

They joined in the Ārti and spoke with Swamis & BAPS volunteers about the work done by DICCI. BAPS commends their advocacy to bring equality & opportunity to the under represented.
