Putin announced appointments of heads of security agencies: Andrey Belousov to replace Sergey Shoigu at MoD; Shoigu to replace Nikolay Patrushev as Secretary of the Security Council. Lavrov, Bortnikov Naryshkin to keep their posts

Sergei Shoigu was succeeded by Andrey Belousov (previously First Deputy Prime minister in charge of economy) as Russian Defense Minister. Shoigu will become the Secretary of the Russian Security Council instead of Nikolai Petrushev.
