Delegates from #Morocco and #Yemen arrived in #Rwanda to conduct an official assessment of the country's efforts and achievements in fighting corruption.This evaluation is being carried out as part of Rwanda’s obligations under the United Nations Convention against Corruption /1

The assessment mission, which will run from April 23 to April 25, 2025, involves the active participation of various stakeholders, including governmental institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector. /2 #RWOX #RwOT #UNCAC

Delegates from #Morocco and #Yemen,along with a team from UN Office on Drugs & Crime,concluded a three-day official assessment of Rwanda’s anti-corruption efforts and achievements.The evaluation was carried out as part of Rwanda’s commitments under the United Nations Convention against Corruption./1

It focused on measures for preventing corruption and recovering illicit assets. The delegation commended Rwanda for its continued efforts to combat corruption across all sectors and for its strong political will to maintain a zero-tolerance stance. /2

The event brought together representatives from various national institutions, civil society organizations and private sector engaged in the fight against corruption and related crimes, including Ministry of Justice,Ministry of Local Government | Rwanda , Judiciary of Rwanda , and several others./3
