We look forward to our beautiful coastline being open again so that people may safely explore the outdoors!

We support the Restaurant, Events and Tourism Industries country wide in asking for answers. Why were we not consulted and then given less than 24 hour warning when changing business hours, occupancy and the ban on sale of alcohol? We now see daily closures in all sectors.

We would also like answers Dept of Tourism and The Presidency 🇿🇦 .

So many experiences in South Africa are lost forever due to a lack of engagement, lack early warning of closures and lack of proper consultation with sectors by the players in the Tourism, Events and Restaurant Industries. It is time for a strategy and proper planning.

Backpackers around the country can hardly keep their doors open due to beach bans, bodies of water being closed and very little consultation on the ban on alcohol and many other measures taken. Dept of Tourism and The Presidency 🇿🇦 we need a better solution and proper engagement!

Our Industry has to be consulted and given sufficient warning to prepare for any changes in regulations relating to the pandemic The Presidency 🇿🇦 and Dept of Tourism . The measures have crippled many, closed too many and caused the loss of tens of thousands of jobs. #jobssavelives
