Post game infield flood. This is the beginning of our field having excellent playability for our two Greenville, NC Little League games beginning at 5:30 on Friday afternoon.

I love ESPN+ but today’s one of those all too frequent days when the sound from the announcer and the sound from the commercials are way different. Every time they go to commercial the sound is loud enough to break glass.

Just finished picking up trash and fixing petty vandalism at Elm Street Park tonight. Tonight’s amount of disrespect shown to our facility tonight was one for the books. Thanks does go however to our parents who clean the stadium each night. They are appreciated!!!

Time I will never get back in life: Waiting for Little League catchers to get their gear on and watching corner base coaches run halfway to second to meet the guy who just hit a standup double and collect his armor. If he made it to second with it on can’t he just keep it on?

My friend Bobby Williams attends the Men’s Final Four every year. He gets out and sees different things the host cities have to offer. My question to him is: What are your top 5 Final 4 host cities?

When Jim Valvano made his run in ‘83 there was a bit more spontaneity and a bit less of this.

As a high school basketball official and self proclaimed floor guru. I think this is a pretty good floor. I do however like the painted area to be painted and I find it amazing that division line is obscured by a logo (everywhere now) I know there’s a shadow line…but really???

It’s always good when a satellite map photographer catches you at work. This was a wet day as I like to pull the broom on the skin when it is wet to at least try and dry out the top. I’m behind first base having just painted first base line getting ready to paint third base line.

So I really don’t have a quarrel with it but I wonder why these first few NCAA Men’s games are in Dayton every year. I wonder why they don’t move them around a little. Maybe next year we could host these games in Minges🙂.

ACC Championship, scintillating action until the last few minutes. Then it becomes , foul, free throws, go to the monitor. Foul, free throws, go to the monitor. Flow of all close college games is so bad in the last few minutes of games.

⁦East Carolina Women’s Basketball⁩ Huge come from behind win. This team hasn’t made excuses. They are where they belong, the AAC Championship 💪 Best free throw shooter on campus missed a couple at the end but Amiyah made a play and slowed UTSA down just enough so they couldn’t get good shot at end
