My friend Bobby Williams attends the Men’s Final Four every year. He gets out and sees different things the host cities have to offer. My question to him is: What are your top 5 Final 4 host cities?

When Jim Valvano made his run in ‘83 there was a bit more spontaneity and a bit less of this.

As a high school basketball official and self proclaimed floor guru. I think this is a pretty good floor. I do however like the painted area to be painted and I find it amazing that division line is obscured by a logo (everywhere now) I know there’s a shadow line…but really???

It’s always good when a satellite map photographer catches you at work. This was a wet day as I like to pull the broom on the skin when it is wet to at least try and dry out the top. I’m behind first base having just painted first base line getting ready to paint third base line.

So I really don’t have a quarrel with it but I wonder why these first few NCAA Men’s games are in Dayton every year. I wonder why they don’t move them around a little. Maybe next year we could host these games in Minges🙂.

Greenville Little League tryouts begin one week from today. We’re getting there.

Until college basketball figures out how to do the last minute or two of the game in a timely manner ratings will continue to fall. Too many timeouts, too many reviews, too many times not trusting PrecisionTime and adding time to the clock.

Every year there’s a day in February when the old field decides to “pop”. Yesterday was that day. Stripes are a little more defined🙂 We’ll be on it March 6 for Little League tryouts!!!

I didn’t realize the NFL postseason overtime rule was different than the regular season OT rule. I wish the rule was the same for regular season.

We’ll be on it in 1 day shy of a month. Lots of touching up to do but it’s not far from being Little League tryout ready.

What we hoped was going to happen again is going to happen again!!!

If I was in charge once we hit the one minute mark in college basketball each team would lose all of their timeouts but 1 of them. Between official reviews and multiple timeouts the games are soooo drawn out.
