University administrators will do a superficial land acknowledgment in their morning meeting and then proceed to have students arrested for protesting the displacement of Palestinians from their own land.

Worth a reminder that for Israel to be allowed to continue what it is doing to Palestine, the West is rapidly eroding our rights - to protest, our freedom of speech - this is being legislated for too, so no going back.

'I am against genocide' is not supposed to be a controversial statement, a statement that kicks you out of school, a statement that causes you to lose your job, and so on.

Exactly how I see it too. I am terrified as to what comes next. But sitting back and hoping it works out in our interest is not going to work.

I'm angry to hear that IXL Learning has bought Dictionary.com and that in doing so, it laid off the entire #lexicography team! How absolutely horrid and nonsensical. You can't produce and maintain a #dictionary of any quality without lexicographers!

I'd love to send stuff overseas, but it's so difficult/unreliable/expensive now, I can't.

I've had to do two refunds today for lost books. Five this week. I lose money posting abroad.
