Gerry Strong, Hugh Scott and Gerry Panting make up a juggernaut of Newfoundland and Labrador traditional music! Their group, Cotillion will be a part of our program during the 2023 season.

We’re celebrating the return of the iconic NL traditional music duo, Jim Payne and Fergus O’byrne! This show is guaranteed to get your toes tapping.

Here’s the complete description of acts to be featured this season. We’re not doing mail out rack cards this season but they’re available at any local hotel, the town office or the tourist chalet.

Don’t miss our first show on Thursday with the great local duo, Whiskey and Ginge. In case of poor weather, the show will be at the events center. Any announcement of a change of venue will be make on Facebook, Twitter and Voyent Alert

Tonight’s show with ‘Whiskey and Ginge’ will be held at the events center. Starting time is 7:00 and, as always (thank-you sponsors!), it’s free.

Unfortunately the Dollie Rogers will not be able to perform tomorrow due to illness. However, we will be presenting a great alternative with the Ches and Frank show so get your Merle and Hank hats on. Best wishes to our stricken musician friend!

This year we’ve had country music, folk music, traditional music and blues music. We’re capping off our season with storytelling by Dave Penney supported by great the musical accompany of Daunt Lee. As always - we don’t take cash, credit or etransfer. IT’S FREE!!

The 2024 season is coming together! The acts have been hired and will be announced soon. Our sponsors have been very generous again and ArtsNL has again supported us with a grant! In fact, we’ve found it possible to extend our season to include 8 shows.

Welcome back! We’re ready to kick off our 2024 season on Thursday, July 04. It’s going to be a fantastic season! Shows are usually held outdoors at Elizabeth Swan Park. Our rain venue is the Eastlink Events Centre theatre. Shows are always free to patrons.
