🧵 1/ There are good reasons why many in the aviation industry do not believe Global Airlines will succeed. The initial flight plan is just one of these reasons, with four commercial legs in ten days.

🧵 2/ Now, don't get me wrong, innovation, vision and competition in aviation are extremely welcome in a time when airlines need to keep cutting costs to stay afloat. This thread is to express my concerns about Global, and I hope to be proven wrong in the long term.

🧵 3/ The airline promised to offer a "world-class" experience on board the A380, which I agree is the world's most comfortable aircraft. There is, however, nothing about the actual offer on Global's website, aside from some generic (and more often than not, useless) information.

🧵 4/ On the same website, there are two different pictures of the same item, the first-class bar, so one may wonder which is which. More concerns arise from the actual onboard product, as the first pics only emerged a few hours ago.

🧵 5/ On social media, the airline has boasted its uniforms, serving caviar in business class, champagne partnerships, loyalties and more. All sounds fantastic, except there are no other scheduled flights aside from the ones reported on the first tweet.
