Congratulations to Archie Parkington for completing the Aspirations Edge. Some of his activities included, cooking for his family, selling his own products, helping someone with their garden, reading to a younger child and joining sailing club outside the academy. Well done!

Congratulations to Logan Stickland for completing the Aspirations Edge Award. Some of is activities included, leading a lesson, working hard to be a better swimmer, attending basketball training, representing the academy at a tournament and achieving excellent attendance.

Year 1 have been on a litter pick around our school field today and recovered 5 bags of rubbish. Please remember if you use our school fields at weekends to take your litter home! We want clean space to play and explore. 🌿🌏

Year 1 have started assembling their transport inventions for our current Design and Technology unit today, messy hands all round!

As part of our PSHE curriculum, KS1 enjoy weekly circle times to discuss and share views on a variety of topics. Today Year 2 took theirs outside and discussed how to show good manners in the dining hall 🍽️☀️

Year 1 had a fantastic trip to Abbotsbury today, learning about our local environment and British Wildlife 😎

Year 2 kick-started their new topic with a day dedicated to people who have changed the world. We had everyone from Albert Einstein, Neil Armstrong, Anne Boleyn and Emmeline Pankhurst 🌎

Students from Y5, 6 and 10 who have been working on their ‘Beetle Boy’ reading project with Dorset Council UK went to Bournemouth Uni to officially graduate on Monday. Congratulations to all our amazing students for all their hard work on improving reading.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A source of continuity, strength and reassurance for 70 years, her legacy bears testament to a life dedicated to service. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family and we offer our heartfelt condolences.
