- if he were man or myth until ringing up petty thieves and gangsters wasn't all he was capable of doing. Superman was impressed by the -

- way he handled himself for a man with no powers; or so he thought for the time being. He wanted to know about him. And luckily, -

- Superman's alter ego; Clark Kent managed to acquire a new reporters position at the Daily Planet giving him all more of a reason to -

- investigate. He had been following a few closed cases on some of Batman's lock aways, but Perry didn't want Clark spending too much -

- time on a man that decides to dress like a bat every night. He didn't deem it interesting to anyone outside of Gotham although Clark -

- thought otherwise. Superman wasn't sure whether he wanted to put a stop to the Batman or try and reason with him, but he knew a -

- confrontation was imminent. He didn't know when or how, but soon. For the time being the Batman didn't seem as a forthcoming threat so -

- that gave Superman more time to focus on being the hero he felt he was destined to be for the world. Although he was trying his best, -

- he knew it wouldn't be easy to gain the trust of everyone in the world sp easily. His arrival or antics weren't for invited or prepared -

- for and it was hard not to overstep his boundaries even when it seemed fit. With so much power at his hands, he always reminded himself -

- it's why he uses it that's going to define him to the world. Unlike the Batman, Superman didn't have an array of super villains to -

- challenge his might. The only ways he could show his sense of security was by pulling cats from trees and preventing as many accidents -

- as he could. This made Superman a little envious because he felt it's why the general public was more welcoming of @VengefulKnight_ -

- than him. But he was aware it'd take time. In time the people of Earth would rally behind him because he was their symbol of hope.
