Enjoying our first talk back face to face with DDAS members for the first time in nearly two years! Many members still on zoom but great to be back offering both options! Dr Sarah Crowther has given an excellent talk this evening. Thank you so much!

A huge thank you to Dr Kendall Ackley from the university of Warwick who has provided our society with an excellent talk on "the search for Black Holes". We will definitely be asking her back! Very fascinating!

Another amazing talk from C D C Steele last night. We have spy dwarf planets in our solar system πŸ˜―πŸ˜„. An amazing turn out for an amazing speaker in our 50th year. We can't wait to invite Colin back! Thank you Colin!

Eric Dier intervening calmly, defending resolutely and ensuring a clean sheet. In-form English centre-back in last four of the #UCL. Too late for a Gareth Southgate U-turn? #BAYARS #ENG

Last night we celebrated our 50th anniversary as a society with a party. Unbelievably, as we all travelled home, an amazing display of Aurora occurred above the UK. I can't believe the odds of something happening like this on our 50th celebration night. A night to remember!
