Whenever Bill Wiseman or I go visit our dad in Maryland, we walk up the NCR trail and send each other a picture of the 1 mile marker. It’s a tradition. Today, my brother took it to a new level and it feels like he has ventured into the unknown.

A minute of chaos in the simulator when a thrust vector malfunction sent us out of control during the perigee raise maneuver. The system handled it as expected, shutdown the engine, and allowed us to safely return to Earth.
