Neena Jha @KyleRoys @DrCarolineMWF Royal College of General Practitioners In my experience, physios / FCPs are much better at assessing msk presentations comprehensively / accurately (and being aware of flags) than GPs.

FCP is NOT a replacement for medics or GP colleagues in primary care. It is to assists colleagues in primary care management of patients with MSK conditions. It is to get it right first time, offering expertise at the front door. It is screening for 🚩& undifferentiated diagnosis

I would back the average MSK Physio over the average GP for undifferentiated back pain. Come at me.

Agreed. Refferal into physio would I hope provide reassurance. Education and advice +/- signposting which we can do as FCPs.
