Brian J. Cook (Beta Beta–Bethany '03), an English language arts teacher and department chair at Pocomoke Middle School [Maryland], was one of 76 teachers from the U.S. to be selected for the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program.

Kappa Chapter at Mercer University recently hosted a golf tournament to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Through the golf tournament, the chapter raised $2,000 to benefit local kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases.
