Is this is a defi right of passage or the end to a very short career?😳All funds are safe. Thanks samczsun for keeping an eye out for newbies like me.

As always Emiliano Bonassi and Sam Priestley are a class act helping today with the Cover Protocol situation. Going above and beyond to uncover the root of the exploit and come up with a proper fix. Quality and educational research for devs in the space

UUPool is using this contract to do free arbitrage. When they mine a block they put their arbs at the front with zero transaction fee. etherscan.io/address/0xc35d… The era of MEV has begun :(

I've only ever learned how DeFi protocols work by trying to profit off of them or arb them. I've never read a blog post and said "oh cool yeah I totally get that." If you're trying to learn about DeFi, try to game the system and see where the failsafes are.

I sent some! etherscan.io/tx/0x1d700574a… You should too! GiveDirectly is doing great work in distributing funds directly to the world's poorest. They take crypto: donate.givedirectly.org (they don't yet take DOGE directly but maybe that can change☺️☺️)

Fun observation on BscScan: the rate of transactions on BSC is so high, they have trouble keeping up with parsing all internal trxs. Go to this page and start refreshing, you will notice 20h+ old transactions appearing on the top bscscan.com/address/0x516c… /credit Sam Priestley

Idk who needs to hear this but: quit your job and come work in crypto. I took a massive pay cut to join this industry. My first job at Maker paid about a third of what I was making before that. It was the easiest & best decision I’ve ever made. I have never once regretted it.

Gas saver tip: ⛽️💸 Looking to dump a token once on Uniswap? (ex: dumping an airdrop) Instead of sending a token approval for infinity, approve exactly the amount of tokens you have. The swap will set your approval to 0, and you'll get refunded 15,000 gas, saving about $2.
