Two very interesting #tropical crops in #Florida - one with a long cultivation history in the region #avocado 🥑 and one potentially emerging #coffee ☕️. Both in need of pathologists to work on the diseases that affect their production 🔬🧫🧑🏻‍🔬 #planthealth #FoodSecurity

#LaurelWilt is not only causing significant damage to the #Florida #avocado #aguacate 🥑industry but also represents a real threat to the known (and unknown) avocado genetic diversity. Read this article 👇on the impact of this disease on the germplasm collection at Agricultural Research Service
