10yo this morning - 'Ha, imagine if one of our bubbles goes today, on the last day of term! That would be funny.' 12yo's school at 11am - 'She's on her way home to isolate for ten days.' Turns out the 10yo was wrong, it's not that funny.

Other than school and local parks, we haven't taken the children anywhere for 18 months. Took them to the zoo on Sunday and the 10yo caught covid. Sod's law. At least the 12yo got 2 days freedom before isolating again 🙄

Annual hunt through the house for things I bought weeks ago whilst yelling 'where is it?!' day. Otherwise known as the day before my children go back to school. One year I'll be more organised, maybe when they're in college.

Me to my 10yo, five minutes after I'd picked him up from school today: 'Don't jump that chain fence, you'll hurt yourself.' My 10yo: Jumps fence, gets feet tangled in it and lands on his head. It's only the second day back.

The fact that our parrot now says 'alright', in a thick Lancashire accent, pleases me greatly. My midlander husband, however, is not happy with this development.

My 10yo held my hand on the way home today. Saw some of his friends up ahead so offered to let go. He said, 'no, I don't care if they see, you're my mum and I love you and you make me feel safe.' Took effort not to sob in the street!

#WorldMentalHealthDay Because you wouldn't know what he deals with, what he tells himself or how much he struggles, just by looking at him. He matters. He is so loved and I will be there for him for as long as I am able. My beautiful boy.

8yo: 'Mummy, why don't we ever go to a pumpkin patch?' Me: 'Because I'm not that type of mum, sorry. Ask your auntie.' Never been to a pumpkin patch yet in my 14 years of parenting and I don't intend to start now.

It’s important that we recognise the signs and the symptoms of a stroke and to act F.A.S.T to call 999 or the emergency services number wherever you are in the world. All On The Board #WorldStrokeDay #Strokes #Stroke #StrokeAwarenessDay

On Monday my 9yo was taken to hospital after an asthma attack. North West Ambulance Service were amazing as were the staff in A&E and on Ward 8 at Chorley & Royal Preston for the 4 days she was treated for pneumonia. Thanks to them she's almost better and home where she belongs. Grateful for the NHS.

My beautiful gran was alone last year at Christmas as we followed the rules. We planned on making this year special. She died last month. Elderly, almost blind and alone at Christmas. And they were having a party. It really hurts.

Grateful to have somehow avoided covid this Christmas despite most people we know catching it but filled with dread at having to send my youngest to school next week after she was hospitalised with pneumonia at the end of November.

Youngest had blue and yellow day at school to raise money for Ukraine. Just a small item alongside their uniform with the focus on Ukraine. I unintentionally dressed my child as the Germany flag much to her amusement🤦🏻‍♀️😂

My youngest has her second broken bone in a month. Anyone know where I can buy a bubble wrap suit to fit a 9 year old? Asking for a friend, her in fact 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

ScottishPower Help Can someone please get back to me about how you're leaving my 72 year old mum with no heat and threatening her with £180 call out fee please? You've condemned her meter and told her it's her problem. Then sent her info for vulnerable customers!
