The past 2 presidents break laws with impunity while law enforcement does nothing (privacy, theft, fraud, corruption, assault). We are a fascist state and getting worse. Instead of Biden or Trump, why can't we get an intelligent, ethical candidate in the next election?

People lie because they want to cheat or steal. People use innuendo because they want to lie and get away with it. Innuendo is the tool of the swindler or the coward (covert narcissist to get technical). Honest direct discussion is more productive.

Who is responsible for the atomic bomb? Einstein that developed general relativity? Oppenheimer that built it? The governments that financed it? You can't stop progress but you can elect politicians that develop treaties/alliances that prevent war and promote peace.

I haven't seen Oppenheimer yet, but there are many ways for mankind to destroy itself. The atom bomb is one of many and it could've been created by a hostile country before the US. Scientist get a bad rap from Hwood, but bad leaders do most of the harm in the real world.

The EU passed an AI act while the US has done nothing because it is a plutocracy of self-serving wealthy people that promote conflict, hedonism, corruption, greed while creating endless ways to distract the public w/BS. The US AI is a state sponsored theft operation.

It amazes me that regardless of party, there is still growing AI spying, IP theft, cyber-crimes and censorship by the Gov/Big tech. If you truly want to cut waste in Gov, cut FISA and spending on Big tech AI/mind reading and encode the law so AI cannot break it.
