A Terrific Tuesday at the Rock…

I promised the kiddos we would make edible rocks to continue demonstrating the rock cycle. We had a rocking time!

On this day in 2018, 17 students and educators were killed and 17 others injured at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in #Parkland, Florida. We hold the victims' families and survivors in our hearts and continue to #HonorWithAction. #EndGunViolence #ProtectOurKids #Remembrance

It’s 4th quarter, so we’ve gotta keep the scholars engaged! Our teachers are using all kinds of interactive academic games as we close out the school year successfully.

We went to Sea World a few weeks ago…a much needed brain break.

Muffins with Mom was such a beautiful experience for our Rocket moms and scholars. Moms walked away with beautifully handcrafted bouquets made by their little loves, munched on muffins and created another memorable moment for the books. Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸🌸🌸

A Friday well spent…‘Data Chat and Chew’ today with Ms. Poitier and her 4th grade scholars! They have their goals in mind and the tools they need to get there. They’re ready!

I’m so excited to share that Rock Island Elementary School has been rated an ‘A’ by Florida’s Department of Education! Our work was intentional, keeping our scholars at the center of EVERY decision we made. God is good!
