Dr Aoife McFeely aoife.mcfeely's MD is on Frailty Identification and Transitions in an Aging Population with Intellectual Disability. Today she won the "Relevance for Patient Care" Award at our PGR day in Tallaght University Hospital Foundation Sean Kennelly National Intellectual Disability Memory Service Trinity Centre for Ageing & ID IDS-TILDA Prof Mary McCarron #TARC


Frailty is a concept poorly understood among those with ID. Trinity College Dublin & Erasmus MC Intl join forces to tackle the issue. Significant collaboration commences between 2 large longitudinal studies IDS-TILDA & HA-ID to build greater understanding & create a validated frailty index.⭐️
