there's the very concerning subtext I've noticed for as long as I've been intentionally working and moving through PWI's, and it's this perception of being a hostile/angry person when being assertive or disagreeing. being a black woman is beautiful and also really really hard.

I will always lean into my softness and vulnerability and the strength those things give me to be true to myself, to be bold, to be fearless - regardless of whether it is afforded to me or not!
