No, this doesn’t make any sense. DC prohibited city contractors from giving political $ to the same people that approve their contracts for a reason. Allowing contractors to bundle cash is bad for our government & bad for our politics. I don’t support this roll back.

I love the spirit of DC. Its people are passionate, we are involved, and we speak up loudly when we've been wronged.   Nothing and no one can convince us we don't deserve all the rights and privileges of Americans who happen to live across a state line.

This reporting is frustratingly without context and fails to mention that the Council of DC is in recess. All Council members have issued statements or made media appearances, and they/their staff have been responsive to constituent calls for information and support, as well as
