#Menendez Resentencing: Judge Michael Jesic says he will not grant Erik & Lyle resentencing if he finds that there is unreasonable doubt that the brothers could commit another super strike crime. A super strike includes crimes such as murder, sex crimes against a child etc.

#MenendezBrothers : Anamaria Baralt was the first witness called. She’s the brothers’ cousin and supports them getting out of prison. “They have already served 35 years, and our family has been through so much, we just want this to end,” she said.

#MenendezBrothers : Defense called Rapper X-Raided as their fifth witness in the Menendez resentencing. The rapper was in prison with the brothers and said, “If I hadn’t met Lyle & Erik, I would’ve still been sitting there, I would’ve still been doing stupid things.”

#BREAKING: Lyle Menendez has been denied parole. His brother, Erik, was also denied parole yesterday. The panel says they found that Lyle still poses a risk to the public. The two were convicted in the 1989 murders of their parents Jose and Kitty Menendez.

The Supreme Court cleared the way for federal agents to conduct sweeping immigration operations for now in Los Angeles. Immigrant advocacy groups and California Democrats are holding a press conference to respond.
