What a lovely idea! Sadly not sure if it would work on a busy gastro ward but would love to implement this even if for nights only..

We’re deeply saddened to learn that our wonderful, kind friend and beloved Ambassador Paul O’Grady MBE has passed away. He will be so dearly missed by all of us at Battersea. Our love and thoughts go out to all of Paul's family and friends at this difficult time.

People like Scottie are the absolute backbone of our NHS. He's been a pleasure to work with over the years and I know he'll be missed by all at RBH!

John was a patient on ward 1 in 2013. He needed a liver transplant and staff nurse Maryanne helped organise his transfer to London. After a successful operation, John and his wife Gwen return every Christmas Eve. "Ward 1 will always be special to me, and so is the NHS" 💙
