Today marks the start of LNS Unified’s inclusive week, this program at North Star has come so far and continues to grow

Our first spotlight is Unified PE. Unified PE brings both the special education students and the general education students into the same classroom, and is such a fun experience. Being apart of unified overall not just PE opens up so much more perspectives.

Unified Dump! to end off the week we want to give Special Olympics a special thanks for awarding Lincoln North Star for now being a Special Olympics Banner school! Also shout out to ESPN for awarding us with ESPN Honor Roll award.

First unified meet is in the 📚 Go Gators!

Sammie and Carley have been in unified track for 4 years! They can’t wait for the last meet today before championship season! Sammie’s favorite part of track is the running. Carley’s favorite part is getting to see smiles of everybody and the bond that is built!

Our final senior spotlight is Ethan Smith. Ethan has been a part of unified track for 3 years! His favorite thing about unified track is the family bond we all grow together!
