Recently, I got the wonderful opportunity to give a one month Summer School on the full theory of Convolution Neural Networks in Cameroon, my homeland, at the National Higher Polytechnic School of Douala where I previously got my Master of Engineering.

As we head into the second week of the new academic year, we are excited to introduce the Rail Lab team of 2024! Looking forward to a year of research, presentations ... and robot dogs going backflips (when Benjamin Rosman isn't watching). Keep an eye out for what's to come 🦾

We are excited to share that Dr. Branden Ingram has been announced as the runner up for the Thamsanqa Kambule Doctoral Award at this year's Deep Learning Indaba! In 1978 Prof. Kambule became the first black professor at Wits and his impact still echos through the university.(1/3)
