What could have been the finale of most movies Hard Boiled gives us less than halfway through. Absolutely brilliant orchestration of violence, explosions, hard hitting stunt work, and direction courtesy of John Woo and his action team. A masterpiece of action cinema!

Incredibly fun and entertaining movie with good performances, good fight choreography and a lot of heart. Ben Wang is undeniably charming, Chan and Macchio as bickering teachers is blast. One dimensional villains aside a solid cast and well earned stand up and cheer moments.

Sergio Leone perfected the stand off with For A Few Dollars More. The direction, editing, pacing and performances all elevated by the masterful score by Morricone. An absolute masterclass in cinematic storytelling.

Happy 95th birthday to an absolute cinematic legend!! Celebrate by watching your favorite Eastwood flick!!
