This is the new way of “programming” computers that is challenging conventions. I can’t wait to see what the next generation of “AI native” kids do with this. The current iPad/Roblox/Minecraft generation are really going to change things up too when they enter the workforce.

Sigh. Google domains sold to Squaresapce who have sold to a private equity firm. We’re screwed. It’s still a huge pain to move domains between services. techcrunch.com/2024/05/13/per…

Current AI agents seem anything but agentic. I want an AI to understand & think about the complexities to a question & construct the method of answering it. Not to rely on a list of pre-determined functions for it to run based on keyword matches. #ai

I haven't had a printer in years but am looking to get one again. Consumer grade but good/high quality that allows me to use different papers etc. Ink's not locked to the manufacturer. Any recommendations?

15,000 sq foot of outside connectivity and point to poor connections of 200-400mbps up to half a mile. Sounds pretty decent. Not super cheap but there are more and more consumer outdoor solutions coming onto the market that look good. theverge.com/2024/10/23/242…

For someone who predominantly works alone, large language models have been amazing productivity boosters. I'm continually finding new ways that they help me run my life and business more efficiently. It's crazy to think we're only just beginning with all this.

The new Mac mini is essentially the machine I've been waiting for - a baby Mac Studio. AU$999 ok, but spec'd to near what I need >AU$4k. 😱 Would be nice if it had an SD card slot + larger memory options (not that I can afford them). Bring on the reviews...

arstechnica.com/ai/2024/10/goo… It doesn't surprise me. I'd love to hear some metrics coming out of other companies.

I've never felt more Australian than I did this evening, fishing a huge rotting Kookaburra out of the pool skimmer box with my thongs while waiting for sausages to cook on the BBQ... 💪🇦🇺🩴
