Terribly sad. Neil Roy was instrumental to my career & taught me so much - taking me under his wing when I knew nothing about journalism & had no qualifications. He helped me get my first job at BBC Beds, Herts & Bucks and always kept in touch 20+ yrs later. I know I am one of many he helped. š
