That is the right question. How was it possible that the Kremlin's main disinformation warrior was not sanctioned? Because of an absurd US interpretation of the First Amendment confusing disinformation warriors with journalists. Learn how to identify your enemies!

Scott Ritter ends his cooperation with Sputnik and RT after US sanctions. Lol, it's a bit too late! Thank you to the DOJ and Treasury.. the kremlin rats are scattering

🔥 Russia: 'Plastik' factory on fire in Uzlovaya, Tula Region. The plant manufactured components for industrial equipment, car parts, chemical industry pipes and fittings, elements for gas and water supply, and other goods made from polymer materials.

"The Department of Justice today unsealed two indictments charging Dimitri Simes, 76, and Anastasia Simes, 55, both of Huntly, Virginia, and Russia with two separate schemes to violate U.S. sanctions." Finally! & all GOP "realists" celebrated Simes... justice.gov/opa/pr/tv-pres…

For three decades, ambassadors from formerly communist countries have told me that they could not understand how the FBI could not act against the obvious leading Russian intelligence officer in Washington who led a very prominent republican "realist" foreign policy institute.

Isn't it obvious to everybody that Trump is a demented scatterbrain. He knows little & he does not know what he is talking about. How can anybody vote for such a non-entity?

Anders Åslund (@anders_aslund) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If I were Biden or Harris, I would hammer Trump & Vance for being in the pocket of Russian-paid propagandists. Who could be stupid enough not to understand that Dimitri Simes was a Russian influence agent? Apparently, only "realist" republicans. Hit them hard!

Anders Åslund (@anders_aslund) 's Twitter Profile Photo

As usual Trump shows that he understand nothing of anything. How can the GOP allow such an utterly dumb person represent them? Iran & Russia are marginal in the global economy - less than 3%. Dumb Trump would not understand such a statistic.

Anders Åslund (@anders_aslund) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Indeed, but what is even more mind-boggling is all these republican "realists" who celebrated Simes - Nixon, Kissinger, Schlesinger & Scowcroft. Who were they? What values did they have? None. And why are they not being held to account?

Anders Åslund (@anders_aslund) 's Twitter Profile Photo

First, Sachs ended no poverty. He made a lot of personal propaganda about it (a disgrace). Second, he lies freely in favor of Putin. Presumably because he has failed getting ahead in the US democratic establishment. Suck up your poor luck without supporting war & dictators!

Harris needs to hit Trump hard on Ukraine on September 10. Why is he rooting for Russia? Why does he praise Putin all the time? Is Trump really against democracy & the West? (I think he is. Expose his awfulness!)

Anders Åslund (@anders_aslund) 's Twitter Profile Photo

How can anybody take Trump seriously as a policy maker? The man is a walking disaster to anybody who listens to his incomprehensive but radical nonsense.

Given what Russia has become, any foreign citizen in Russia is a potential hostage, just as under Stalin. Putin is the Stalin of our days. Nobody needs a new Stalin.

Noted: These disgusting Fox News people state openly that they would be happy to be bought by the Russians if they got $400,000 a month... Who are these people? Why does anybody listen to such terrible characters?
