Didn’t love that second half, at all. But have to be encouraged with some of the individual performances, particularly Poku, Esquerdinha & Mbengue. We knew this was a long work in progress #QPR

Kone and Celar’s heatmaps (using Celar’s last season at Lugano as comparison). We’re bringing in a much more versatile forward, more comfortable coming deep and going wide in build up, plus being a clinical finisher in the box. Good work Rs #QPR

Pleased the club have learnt lessons in recruitment, focusing much more on bringing in young EFL-schooled talent. Nothing wrong with recruiting prodigious talent from abroad, but feel the balance is better this summer

It’s now far from uncommon to see Championship clubs sell players for these kind of fees. This is how you put yourself in a position to consistently compete

The young lads did well today. And if there’s a fixture you’re going to blood them in during a season, then it’s this one. Bigger picture everyone #QPR
