My agency (forge.coop) did the design for Zohran’s campaign. While I wish I played a part, it was all the masterful work of my partners, Aneesh and Phil. Having worked with these 2 for close to a decade, it’s no surprise they created what many consider (the most?)

I spent the last 60 days working at Cursor. It's been one of the most thrilling phases of my professional life. There's a lot of mystique around the company. Over the last two months, some things matched my expectations; many did not. I wrote an essay for Colossus

Interesting: GitHub is removing all toasts from their UI due to usability and accessibility issues. I agree they tend to be overused, probably because they’re so easy to implement. There are often better patterns like inline confirmation/errors. primer.style/accessibility/…

One of my favorite lessons I’ve learnt from working with smart people: Action produces information. If you’re unsure of what to do, just do anything, even if it’s the wrong thing. This will give you information about what you should actually be doing. Sounds simple on the

The engineer-manager pendulum model no longer accurately reflects how engineering leadership operates. Most of us aren’t just an IC or a manager. Technology has forced us to live somewhere in the middle. I wrote about what this actually looks like now: modernleader.is/p/pendulum-rev…

The best way to gain job security is not being the most knowledgeable person in the room. It's being the most reliable person in the room. Information is abundant. Dependability, helpfulness, and responsiveness are relatively scarce. We count on people who consistently deliver.

Enforce the stickers! Please actually check for snow tires or chains at LCC/BCC. Have seen it work swimmingly in North Lake Tahoe.

Ai slop. The official account of The™ Olympic™ Games™ just published an image which breaks its own brand guide, using an off-brand logo - the rings aren't overlapping at the officially correct places. Does this mean that the IOC™ isn't *that* fuzzy about misusing their logo?

A simple cheat code for life is to just be easy to work with. Respond quickly. Do what you said you'd do. Be pleasant. An alarming number of people suck at all of this.
